“Rocked the Test!” McKean high school made Adequate Yearly Progress
(AYP) as defined by No Child Left Behind (NCLB) and is now the first comprehensive high school in the state to make AYP in year one of restructuring.
This accomplishment changes our school rating from “Academic Watch” to Academic Progress”. When we achieve AYP this year (and we will) we will then become a “Commendable” school and be out of restructuring.
We are thankful for the dedicated efforts of our faculty throughout our aggressive restructuring and proud of our students for their academic achievement.
